Opus is a technology-driven, global leader in the Vehicle Inspection and Intelligent Vehicle Support (IVS) markets, empowering automotive service technicians to meet the challenges of ever-increasing vehicle computerization through its IVS subsidiaries Autologic and Drew Technologies. The Automotive Diagnostic Technician position fills a need in the Opus-managed Indiana vehicle emissions testing program, Clean Air Car Check.
The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in automotive, computer diagnostics, electrical systems, & emissions controls. National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is preferred, but an otherwise qualified candidate may complete certifications after hire. A strong technical performance record and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment are required. Excellent customer service skills are a must, as are communication and organizational skills, a professional appearance and a positive attitude.
