This job involves service, repair and restoration on all British Classic cars from the 50'6, 60's. 70's and 80's.
Mechanical experience required on brakes, suspensions, clutch, etc. Engine, differential and transmission experience a plus.
You MUST understand electrical theory, own, and be proficient in, the proper use of a DVOM. Two Snap-On Counselors on property so at least rudimentary scope skills would be a plus, and hands-on training in house will be available to improve.
Carburetter and distributer ignition experience will be required.
Equipment in house: Matco and Snap On Ignition Lab Scopes, Atlas 601 alignment equipment, FMC Brake Lathe. Cuda Aqueous parts washer, AC Recycling equipment. Many Leyland Factory Specialty tools in house. Each technician has his own Rotary twin post lift, work bench and Evaporative Air Cooler.
Many working techs started their careers working on these simple cars. There now is a growing need for specialists to take advantage of the resurgence of interest in these cars, and the fact that people want to once again own one of the cars that they grew up loving. The ability to keep one on the road, even just as a weekend toy, is paramount to being able to enjoy their experience, and this is what we are all about.
