Cumberland Avenue Garage has an immediate opening for a full time Automotive Repair Technician. CAG has been in business for over 35 years, and we pride ourselves on providing our large, loyal customer base with the best service in town. We are a small, busy, team driven shop with no back stabbing or flat rate drama.
Located in downtown Portland, Maine, CAG offers complete auto repair including: Engine repair, electrical and drivability diagnostics; ABS, SRS diagnostics, timing belts, headgaskets, A/C service, brakes, clutches, tires, regular scheduled maintenance and Maine State safety inspections. We repair all makes and models of passenger cars and light trucks.
We work Monday - Thursday 7:30 to 5:00, and Friday 7:30 to Noon. Yes, done at noon on Fridays, and we do not work weekends. Paid uniforms, paid holidays, paid continuing education classes. Requirements: (meaning the following are REQUIRED....not optional)
-A minimum of 3-5 years previous automobile repair experience
-Current Maine State Inspection license (Classes A&E)
-CLEAN driving record
-A well written and accurate resume with references (that will be checked)
-Your own hand tools and reliable transportation.
-Professional appearance and attitude Experience with Asian and European makes is helpful. ASE and other certifications not required, but are a plus.
