General service technician (C-B level)
Duties
- Light diagnosis for general warning lights (CEL/ABS)
- General repairs (R&R components)
- Maintenance: O/F changes, brake service, courtesy inspections
- Alignments and pulling concerns
- Make estimates for repairs using ALLDATA labor guides
Medium-Hard diagnosis often handled by Senior technicians and repairs distributed for repairs. Courtesy inspections required on all vehicles in for service.
Heavy line technician
Duties
- Remove Engines/Transmissions, transfer parts from old units to remanufactured or used units
- Diagnosis confirming engine or transmission unit failure requiring replacement
- Installation relearn procedures (adaptations/general troubleshooting)
- Timing repairs: Timing belts, Timing Chain Kits, Timing chain driven components (water pump/oil pumps), Front cover resealing
Engine and transmission replacements recommended often, we are lacking staff to complete work quickly.
Master level technician (B-A Level)
Duties
- Diagnosis of all systems: Any warning lights, noises, "No start" conditions, Lack of power concerns
- "Bumper to bumper" repairs of all systems
- General maintenance w/repairs, courtesy inspections
- Making estimates using ALLDATA labor guides. Diagnosis must be accurate w/well written summary
- ADAS calibrations (optional)
Shop equipment: Bearing press, AGA lift table, Multiple transmission jacks, Overhead engine hoist, multiple engine hoists "Cherry pickers", multiple engine stands, (5) two post lifts, (2) 4 post lifts-1 w/Hunter alignment machine, 4 ground lifts, A Bobcat/Forklift, Multiple workbenches, dual air compressors, Snap on Zues scan tool, Autel Maxisys Ultra scan tool, Chassis ears, PicoScope w/pressure transducer sets, Snap on smoke machine, multiple battery testers and chargers and more!
Our shop does not perform State Inspections or perform tire replacements-these items are sent to a nearby tire shop.
Our shop requires courtesy inspections on every vehicle brought in for service, Diagnosis needs to be accurate and repairs need to have a low failure rate. Estimates must be accurate and repair summaries need to be included in estimates.
ADAS alignment machine and calibration equipment is being installed in December, training will be provided during the 2023 year.
You may be requested to attend training during the year: Courses are paid for and travel will be reimbursed if out of local area.
Certifications: ASE's, Courses, Manufacturer training certifications are encouraged!
We work on all makes and models. Vehicles prior to OBDII (1996) are accepted at the technicians discretion. We also have a partnership with a next door Collision shop so many vehicles may be in for diagnosis, alignments or repairs after a collision.
