Purpose of Position:
As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will play a crucial role in managing daily customer service needs and business activities. Working alongside our Service Manager, Service Advisor, and Owner, you will ensure a seamless customer experience and contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding service. The CSR position offers growth opportunities, with the potential to advance to a Service Advisor role.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a CSR who can demonstrate their ability to set and achieve performance goals while upholding ethical standards. Excellent customer service skills are a must, along with the ability to answer phones, assist customers with transportation arrangements, and collaborate closely with our service team. The ideal candidate should be available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week consistently and possess the technical acumen necessary to support our retention programs.
Areas of Responsibility:
As a CSR, your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of customer service and business-related activities. Your dedication to our mission statement, employee development, company profitability, and ensuring 100% customer satisfaction will be vital. You will cultivate positive relationships with customers and fellow employees by adhering to approved company policies and procedures outlined in the employee manual and task-specific guidelines. Teamwork is the cornerstone of our approach, and both the Service Manager and Service Advisor work collaboratively to achieve shared goals.
Specific Duties:
On a daily basis, you will have the opportunity to learn and execute various tasks, including:
- Writing up service jobs and ordering parts through phone and online platforms.
- Utilizing tools like Mitchell Pro-Demand, AutoVitals, iATN, and service manuals to access technical information.
- Adding part numbers and canned jobs to our software database as needed.
- Assisting in writing and selling service/repair to contribute to monthly performance goals.
- Closing the shop and ensuring proper wrap-up procedures at the end of the day.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Welcome and engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
2. Schedule appointments using our customer appointment log.
3. Collect comprehensive customer information on repair orders.
4. Communicate effectively with customers to understand the nature of their vehicle's problem.
5. Provide detailed information about the customer's problem to the Service Manager or Service Advisor.
6. Coordinate the dispatching of repair orders in collaboration with the Service Manager or Service Advisor.
7. Offer shuttle services to customers, transporting them to their home or workplace while their vehicle is being repaired.
8. Occasionally, procure necessary parts by running errands.
9. Answer incoming phone calls and relay messages promptly to the Service Manager or Service Advisor.
