Tools and Equipment
Being an instructor or manager, I no longer bring tools with me as they are for my own use now. I am very familiar with many scan tools (OEM and aftermarket). I can use and properly operate all of the tools and equipment required to train students and experienced technicians.
Automotive Diesel Instructor
Owned and operated a 5-bay automotive service facility for Asian and domestic vehicles. Developed strategies to maintain a 50-64% average gross profit on the P&L. Hired and trained staff, delegated work to seven full time employees, evaluated performance, opened/closed shop, met with suppliers and acquired the best products for the most reasonable prices to provide clients with the best possible value, quality, service, repair and warranty. Made all determinations of the financial health and success of the business, existing equipment conditions, needs and acquisition/upgrading of new equipment. Set budgets to ensure profitability. Created and designed marketing, sales and client retention campaigns. Maintained solid network of contacts with clients, vendors, suppliers and financial institutions.
Established and maintained Customer Service Index (CSI) through the implementation of proactive, customer-oriented sales and service management techniques with the ultimate goal of earning customers for life.
