Actively Looking for Manager/Service Advisor jobs and is willing to relocate for the right position.
I have 30+ years experience in the automotive service industry and I currently am a Work Leader (shop Foreman) with the US Air Force. This is a civil service job. I have owned my own shop (16 years) in Michigan and had a auto business in Oregon. In my current job of 7 years I supervise the operations of 4 distinct areas; Customer Service (QC), general purpose, special purpose and tire shops, in 2 separate buildings. I control flow of work, priorities, shop operations and daily technician staff rotation as needed to support the work load. I perform the majority of the difficult diagnosis jobs and provide guidance and training on many tasks. I am ASE certified Master in Auto, and have several certs in Med/Heavy Truck. I am Macs certified in AC.
Tools and Equipment
I am familiar with the majority of tools used in this industry including both hand held and laptop scanners. I am familiar with the snap-on drive on alignment machine, brake lathes, and various 2 and 4 post lifts. I am experienced with snap-on and several other brands of AC machines.
