Passively Looking for Shop Foreman/Technician jobs and is willing to relocate for the right position.
I started wrenching when I was 12yrs old at a local junk yard. I have over 30yrs of professional experience, I've been with my current employer for 6yrs we mostly do work for BNSF. Prior to that I spent 17yrs at a independent shop as a tech and over 10yrs of it as a tech and shop manager, until he sold out. I work hard and take pride in what I do, taking the time to make sure it's done rite the first time. I was ASE certified yrs ago, but have let it lapse. I think more employers look at that than the general public. I think ASE is a good thing, but nothing beats years of real world experience. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and feel free with any questions. I'm happy where I'm at for now. I'm looking to relocate in a year or so after my son is 18. Then he can make his own decision. I've had a few offers so far that sounded good, Thank you. I'm not ready to move jest yet, but have been looking for now to see what's out there. I'm looking for something in a independently owned shop, where I want to relocate to is still open, but I prefer smaller city's around 50 thou population.
