Passively Looking for Technician jobs within 20 miles of Springfield, Oregon.
I am interested in being a primarily driveability focused technician. I am not the guy that is okay with doing 5 or 6 LOFs and an FBJ in a day and calling it good. I enjoy the challenges of diagnostics, even if I wind up getting my butt whooped. I am resourceful and thorough. I am extremely well versed in virtually all aspects of auto repair, I started my career as a GS/alignment technician and have climbed the ladder. I can handle heavy line work loads and flag the hours, but I am tired of getting greasy. I never did like the feeling of grease on my hands, or especially brake fluid... Guess I must just be in the wrong industry, huh? LOL!
Tools and Equipment
Well versed in a multitude of generic and factory scan tools. Good scope knowledge and experience, trained with SnapOn/Sun and Pico scopes. I am well equipped with a personal set of tools and equipment, minus any scantool or scopes.
I handle 70% of the diagnostics. I am the second most seasoned tech in the shop. Job requirements include everything from LOF/rotates to heavy line to diagnostics.
A, B, C, level techinician.
Skill building positions that have helped me to become the tech that I am. I began what I would consider to be an apprenticeship in 2006 at a prominent independent repair facility and have only grown from there.
