It is not a Pico.. But for the price, it's the best bang for your buck. The reason I purchased this is because I wanted to able to examine more complicated waveforms and get more details than I could out of my Snap-On. I would like to clear up some negative opinions people have about this scope. The product support is beyond amazing. I had an issue upon purchase of the MP408 with the software. It was resolved almost 10 minutes after calling technical support. I've heard a lot of people complain about interference from the scope. However that was years ago and the software has been updated a lot since. There is an option to apply a custom lowpass filter and math channels now similar to the Pico. Yes, the equipment the scope comes with is made by Hantek. But it is all usable and very capable of helping you perform advanced diagnostics. All-in-all this is a great option for a low-cost automotive grade oscilloscope. You will not find anything else like it for this price.
