For more than one year now this is my personal scan tool I use and it works very well. It is tough yet light to carry around in one hand and the long range wireless VCI connects to an OBD-II vehicle fast. There are even a few adapters for some OBD-I cars. Although there is a lot of data in this unit to sift through ( there are at least 60 different makes of vehicles in the system ) the ''MaxiSys Mini'' is a very easy scanner to use. It gives me OEM & generic SAE DTC's with description, lots and lots of relevant data including graphing, bi-directional functions, and I can also reset and code modules with it. With subscription the updates are frequent and done via Wi-Fi. I find this scan tool quite reliable and thorough.
