Andy Chandler has been in business and at the same location for more than 40 years. The advertising we do is "word of mouth". When other shops are slow, we can usually be seen with a full lot, and a full schedule. Honesty and good old fashioned quality service is coupled with the latest in equipment and service procedures. We get results. We do our best on every problem or routine service presented to us. Our reputation gets us recommendations from many people that we don't even do service for. Ed Fabian has worked for Andy's for more than 32 years, something you don't see in the auto repair business very often. Give us a try, find out what others have known for years. Services
We offer complete service and repairs for most makes and models. And if your car won't run, we have a tow truck, able to tow all cars and light trucks up to 3/4 ton, to get you to our shop or any place you desire. Towing your car damage free is not an accident. We are also licensed to tow in the Chicago and collar counties under the Illinois Commercial Safety Towing Law. So any towing you need (up to 3/4 ton) we can provide. We fix tires, sell tires, fix brakes, tune ups, exhaust work, air conditioning, heaters, cooling systems, engine repairs, sell batteries, starters, alternators, find shorts, replace modules and code and reprogram them, just about anything your car needs we can provide. We can even drop you off or pick you up if required. Give our service a try!
Facility
Our shop strives to keep up with the latest in modern equiptment to handle repairs on most automobiles and light trucks. We are an iATN sponser which gives us the ability to research and brainstorm with more than 86,000 of 'the best in the business' technicians world wide. We use the Alldata information system and Identifix which gives us access to the manufacturers repair and diagnostic information, including TSBs and recall information. We also have the manufacturer's maintenance schedules for making sure your car is getting what it needs in the way of routine service to keep your car going without unexpected trouble. We use equipment designed for the automotive industry by the best names available: Fluke, Snap-on, SPX/OTC, Hunter, Mac, Allen, Tektronix, and the list goes on and on. Factory scan tools for GM, Ford, Jeep/Chrysler, and Mazda, all of this put together means; we can get to the root cause of your cars problems as quickly as anyone.
