parasitic draw
Posted to Technical Tips Forum on 10/9/2013 7 Replies

this will work on any car. I recently had a intrepid here for a few days with a customer concern: battery will intermittently discharge over night. I found no problems with charging system and parasitic draw never went beyond .022ma. Finally another tech came and told the ignition key will come out with car running, Sure enough it came out. The key had a good fit. replaced ignition tumbler with new key. Apparently elder women would not turn ignition completely off.. when you have done testing with no failure found,,, just tug on ignition key :)
