New to me, 2016 Ford Transit passenger van, 3.5 gas turbo engine removal. I work for pipeline fleet company but worked for 43 years for Ford dealers. Ford service manual says to drop out bottom leaving transmission behind. Looks like lot of room up top one grill and core support are removed. Normally if I did one this way I would pull trans first which looks difficult as it is. Considering dropping subframe, engine and trans as an assembly. Time is not a problem but easiest way out preferred as I work by the hour now instead of book time/commission. Anyone done this before?
