Hi all,

We have a Robinair 34788 a/c machine that is several years old. It has worked pretty well for us - up till now.

It will not recover refrigerant at all.

Charge and vacuum still work fine.

When I select recover it will just sit there saying "recover in progress" - forever. I can hear the compressor run but the gauges do not move and it obviously does not recover.

If I stop the recovery it will then say "clearing" and never get done "clearing".

I tested the operation of all the 12v solenoids with my power probe (not very scientific but they all clicked when applying power and ground).

Other than that I'm not quite sure where to look next.
