Automotive Technician Wanted - Damascus, Oregon

We are currently looking for experienced technicians to join our growing and very busy shop.

Job description

Our shop has been running for over 20 years and we have recently moved locations and remodeled a new shop. We have all latest and up to date equipment, tools and scanners.

We work on most makes and models but we specialize in diesel pickups, Powerstroke, Cummins and Duramax.

We take pride in working on our customers vehicles and we value our relationships with our customers and employees.

Must have experience and certifications -

We are offering a sign on bonus - based on experience.

8 hour shifts, 8 - 5 pm Monday through Friday, weekends off.

Responsibilities:

- Making sure our customers vehicles are well maintained and safe to drive.

- Be able to perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of makes and models.

- Diagnosing and pinpointing faulty parts related to customers concerns.

- Must have own tools, and is responsible to keeping work area clean and safe.

- Having good communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.

- Always perform the highest quality work, in a timely manner.

- Making sure our customers vehicles are returned clean and in better condition than dropped off.

- Have knowledge and be able to work with AC systems, cooling and heating, brakes, suspension, fuel systems, starters and alternators, electrical, engine and transmission, basic maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
