I am a dedicated hard working employee, always keeping abreast of new technology through professional development and hands on activities. I feel I bring a well rounded approach to my instruction having been on both sides of the desk in education. I am comfortable managing a entire automotive department down to one on one instruction with special needs students. I have initiated NATEF and AYES accreditations and student competitions through SKILLS/USA, AYES Student Tech. and FORD/AAA Student Auto Skills Competition. Students I have instructed have made it to the national competition level and I have been a national level judge. I always strive to teach to all learning styles
Tools and Equipment
I am familiar with many specialty tools and equipment from many manufactures and equipment suppliers for example Road force wheel balancer, Digital imaging alignment equipment, on and off the car brake lathes, flushing equipment. I am eager to learn new equipment. I am competent with Smart board, overhead projection and digital information systems. Recent experience with Ford IDS and Toyota Techstream scan tools as well as Snapon Veruis and OTC scan tools. TPMS diagnostic equipment, smoke machines.
Automotive Instructor In AYES/NATEF Master certified program. Running a paperless shop and theory automotive program using google classroom and Chrome Book tablets. grades 9-12 Upper grades perform NATEF tasks on live work. SP2 Pro Demand and Mitchel Invoicing. Instructors are required to use E-sped and school brains.

I instruct the 12th grade students in the primary areas of electrical, electronics and engine performance including hybrid and electric vehicles. I supervise student ASE certification and oversee participation in automotive competitions. The 12th grade students perform live work daily in all ASE areas for the general public. All 12th grade students receive ASE Refrigerant, Recovery and Recycling certification along with Snap-on scan tool certification. The 12th grade students who meet the requirements are eligible for employment placement on co-op.
