30+ year veteran of the automotive service industry, I have risen thru the ranks from the bottom. I began in this industry cleaning windows at a quick lube center, and have since filled the position as a lube technician, parts delivery driver, apprentice, technician, shop foreman, and assistant manager/service advisor. I have been an ASE Master Technician for 26 years now, and also hold an L1. I have a vast amount of experience servicing Domestic and Asian vehicles, as well as some experience with the European brands. With this experience, I handle nearly all kinds of work that enters the shop. If I find I am lacking in an area, I learn it. While most technicians shy away from the challenges that high voltage hybrids present, I welcome it. While some technicians are leery of touching that rough running diesel, I'm open to the fun. I also strive to help better the new blood of our industry, the up and coming technicians. Many times they are not fully prepared for the realities of the industry after graduating school, and I have been there many, many times to educate them, and help them understand automotive systems. When I am not working in a shop, or offering online repair guidance, I can be found adventuring on offroad trails, participating in public service events with ham radio, hunting, or enjoying photography.
I would consider relocating to other areas of Colorado, as well as Texas.
