Experienced Automotive Technician with a focus on Driveability, Electrical, HVAC, Brakes, Smog, and light engine repair on all makes/models. I prefer an environment that is very clean, no politics/tension, and where job satisfaction is attained by doing a good job. I tend to invest myself in the business as though I owned it. It is important to me that people are treated with respect weather they be customer or co-worker. Along those lines, I don't believe a customer has license to walk on us: I believe the motorist must qualify to become a customer so that we can enjoy a mutually beneficial relationship.

I am very interested in growing and maintaining a skill-set that is cutting-edge. Much of my free time, if not enjoying company with family, is spent in study.

My weakness at this point is on the Diesel and Euro front, which I have interest in rectifying. Also not strong on heavy duty/line work, though I can do it.

Favorite scan tool: Escan Pro, though I own Techstream (Toyota), HDS (Honda), and VCDS (vw) among others.

I use a labscope (Pico scope with NVH kit) to identify combustion deficiencies/cam timing issues, Fuel and ignition current ramping, communications circuits, NVH, etc. I don't rely on noid lights, or ohm meter readings to confirm injector/ignition coil integrity - though I believe they have their place.

Tools on my wish list include: Articulated boroscope, Drew Tech J2534.

Fairly comprehensive tool set.
