Hi there, I am Aidan! I am a current Tire Technician for Discount Tire with 2+ years of experience servicing wheels and tires. I also carry entry-level technical knowledge about the service and repair of automobiles through my studies at Universal Technical Institute. I am an eager, energetic and open-minded person, ready to start my career in automotive repair!

In my free time, I enjoy wrenching on my motorcycle, truck or reading up on automotive literature. I also enjoy lifting weights, basketball, and skateboarding.

I am currently working on my ASE certifications for automotive brake and suspension systems.

My current position has provided me with all the tools necessary to carry out service and repair, however, I have purchased a full set of quality tools in order to set me up for success in a full-service shop. My knowledge of tools and equipment ranges from basic hand tools and pneumatics to general diagnostic tools, including vacuum gauges, Digital Multimeters, oscilloscopes, and scan tool equipment.

I am looking forward to getting the chance to be exposed to and learn more about different diagnostic tools as well as specialty tools used in the shop to increase the quality and efficiency of the determination and execution of the repair process.

diagnose, repair and replace wheels, tires, and wheel/tire accessories the first time with not only efficiency but also with quality, ensuring that the customers' need is properly met. The ability to make decisions, communicate services to peers and work as a team is key for a smooth flow of work.

Knowledge of tire technology, Tire sales, diagnosis of Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems, interpreting uneven tire wear and recommending repairs based on findings.

Student - Automotive Technology

2018–2019

A 52-week program that consisted of education about the basic inner workings of all automotive systems covered in 3-week increments backed by hands-on training in all areas to solidify concepts proposed in class. this program has given me the skill and information needed in order to get a head start my field and I believe has given me an advantage over the average incoming entry-level technician
