I started working on Cars at age 13. I've gone from enthusiast to professional. I have a sense of urgency with repair, however I want to find the reason a repair is necessary. A symptom is only part of the problem. Ensuring I don't have a come back means that the reason something went wrong has to be fixed as well. I don't fret over the cost of the repair, because that shouldn't be relevant, period. It is more of a headache to the driver to come back and repair a vehicle multiple times. I find if the customer is disclosed the information as to the necessity of the repair prior to cost discussion they make the best decision for themselves. I began as a technician became a manager for Firestone and came back to being a technician. I like heavy line the most of any repair work as well as brakes steering suspension and repairing wrecked vehicles. I have owned numerous Fiats, a Pontiac Trans AM, 2 Oldsmobile Cutlass 3 Motorcycles etc. My family drive Hondas because they are dependable and take me away to repair them very little.
Tools and Equipment
I have a Macsimizer lower tool box a generic upper and a Monster Garage cart. They are filled with hand and power tools. I have a work top roll cart. I have pictures of all my tools for insurance purposes. I own a Mentor Scout, A Stanley (fluke) multi meter a Mitivac vacuum pump, Snap on Mac Tools, Matco and Cornwell hand tools. alignments
I love working here. The environment is conducive to delivering great finished work to our customers. I have done engine diagnosis, engine repair ( engines in stalled and cylinder heads)front end repair heating and a/c ( evaporator cores to ac compressors) brakes electrical( repair rat wiring repairs) front end (knee assembly, struts shocks air bags etc). If it can be priced properly i can repair it.
Alignments brakes, steering and suspension, engine repair, engine diagnosis, drivability, heating and ac repair etc.
Meeting daily sales, monthly sales annual sales quotas through mentoring, training and participating. Maintaining daily operations and training store or corporate when requested. I participated in Dallas district training and employee acquisitions. I was a managing partner and set sales records in all three stores I ran.
