i have actively engaged in the automotive industry for the last 20 years, continuously taking as much training and acquiring as many new testing methods that training can provide. . I continue to passionately engage in learning and developing as a mechanically minded and data driven diagnostic tech without overlooking the low hanging fruit, in which to prove out repairs and fix correctly the first time. I am like all whom work on cars subject to fault but i believe with thorough desire to be motivated and have an attitude that works well with others all help and assistance from co workers, SI, networking ect. that any issue can be overcome.
I have a strong understanding in data analysis along with being familiar with almost any oem and aftermarket hand held or pc based scan tool. I have utilized Pass thru capabilities for several years and have utilized a labscope since they were not digital storage. I use the Pico as my detailed scope along with my go to for quick data signals the verus. Single channel i use the hand held run and gun from aes wave. I have good understanding with all input output signal analysis and appreciate the need for non intrusive testing when no other options present themselves. I have all my own diagnostic equipment from pressure transducers absolute and delta along with thermal imagers and my trusty hand made scope on a rope test light which if needed to can be increased to load ckt from 200 milli amp to 5 amp if needed. i have programmed keys and over the past several years engaged in eeprom work. Needless to say i stay up with new vehicle system operations and functions. Passive anti theft systems, ADAS ECT. i have diagnoses many network failures from modules affecting the transceivers within the module, to shorts on can bus and any older serial single wire system. Have taken many networking classes however they tend to be the most involved and sometimes the most simplest diagnostics.

Tools and Equipment
I personaly own more diagnostice equipment then i can say. I have 5 hand held scanners and i am cuurently able to access all oem info upon subscription based with j2534 which i have 3. Maxi flash vcmi and bosch vci and PTP2.
In own the verus edge, launch x431, autel ultra, im508, with xp 400 pro, and many interface pc based scan tool, obdx, vag com, bavarian tecknic, duramterics, and for the last 10 years used isis and autologic blue box for most BMW and Mercedes. I had a lsid number along with SDRM id and could access pin codes and handle any TRP.
I have pico scope, autel scope, run and gun, and every possible diagnostic tool and hand tool possible. For testing passive anti-theft system and I have proximity system key tester plus i have a grand understanding of these systems. I have load testers, and I believe mist every tool for testing.
Love the need to test and not guess however i am drive by customer complaint which is verified and data or dtc driven diagnosed. Thank You
I currently am employed at Knox Ford as a flat rate tech. I am familiar with FDRS and IDS and how to utilize these platforms.
I have done everything for engine tear downs to simple oil changes. Mainly with other work. I have done most all available work including diagnosing and repairing the buy back concerns that nobody wants.
over the past 10 years i owned and operated Precision Automotive. Located in Vine Grove KY. I over saw the logistics behind everyday shop duties and operations and proved to be a great addition to the local and surrounding community. I specialized in thorough quality repair, service and efficient diagnostics. Offering hundred percent no guess work repair and diag. For several years prior i worked at two different location, Bachman vw and prior and afterwards Payless mufflers and Brakes. I at that point decided to extend my knowledge and understanding of the advancing automotive industry to owning and operating a Independent shop, specializing in import and European performance but quickly realized the need for OEM service diagnostics and repair were essential to maintaining business and a solid customer base. My philosophy was to gain a customer through diagnostic work and if they understood that you are efficiently diagnosing there car with out guessing, then they would trust you to fix any other mechanical arear of there vehicle. This proved to be a great direction for me and my brother.
I stepped down at the beginning of the year due to circumstances that i can not go into however i currently work at Ford and am seeking employment in which I can utilize and grow as a thorough diagnostician and tech within the Independent filed again as i have a love for this particular area and part of this industry. I understand repairs proceed the diag and I am fully aware financially that repair work is key to hours and sustains the lucrative side and growth of any business. thank you
