TECHNIAL SERVICES MANAGER

· Travel to customers to investigate product performance issue and obtain field data.

· Regularly review field open issues report and assist account managers to bring issues to closure.

ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

· Install and calibrate instrumentation on vehicles and components. Instrumentation includes strain gages, accelerometers, thermocouples, potentiometers, pressure, and force transducers to include building calculated channels.

· Perform data acquisition of commercial / military / rescue vehicles utilizing HBM Somat hardware and software in a R&D laboratory and in the field at various customer locations.

· Conduct laboratory component, system, and vehicle tests utilizing MTS 793 software and hydraulic test cells to evaluate and validate new designs and product improvements.

· Perform maintenance and calibration on hydraulic test cells and controllers.

Accurately diagnose difficult OBD, IM93, and BAR90 emission failures at various locations in Lake and Porter counties. (15 to 30 customers per day)

Provide mobile diagnostic service assistance to ICERT certified repair facilities.

Serve as the technician trainer / coordinator responsible for development of the 60-hour ICERT training program.

Compose the “Technically Speaking” newsletter provided to 400+ area repair facilities.

Instruct ASE A8 Engine Performance classes for a NATEF certified Automotive Technology program.

Create custom course curriculum and PowerPoint presentations for the Electronic Engine Management course.

Recommend changes and modifications to curriculum and lab projects, as needed, to improve operations.

Assisted in NATEF certification audits for local colleges.

Member of the student advisory council for the Industrial Technology Department.

Diagnose malfunctions on all automotive systems/sub-systems and repair in accordance with manufacturer standards.

· Provided field maintenance support at C-130 drop zones near LRAFB (Blackjack / All-American).
