I have used Lankar for many years now and have to say it is the smoothest shop management software I have seen. I purchased the system years ago, but they have a pay as you go setup now. I still pay a support fee each month, but it worth it for the peace of mind, computers being what they are. The few times I have had to use the support, it has been flawless. Very quick to respond, and quick to resolve the issue. I do backup my data every few hours so that makes a difference if something does go wrong. The support staff has never been rude or unresponsive to me or any of my staff. If they had more stars I would give it to them.

Jonathan, the program allows you to make an estimate,and convert it to a work order as work progresses and which my customer pays from. After payment I change it to an invoice which posts to the ledger when you close it. It has a choice of payment options to choose when it is closed. There are no batches to process. Can you close repair orders as they are paid / completed ? Or do you have to batch end of day processing ?
