The Autoland Scientech e-iScan scan tool is a diagnostic interface that works via Bluetooth with Android and iOS devices. It will read/clear codes/, do live data with graphing. For those of you that are into a deep analysis of the scan data, I would say it disappoints because its graphs have non adjustable ranges, in fact the ranges are automatic, much like the graphs from Autel and Launch so you never get the big picture. It will also do activations as well as adaptations, coding and service resets along with a slew of special functions. It differs from other scan tools in that it works off of a cloud computing system. The scan software logs into the cloud when you scan and trouble code descriptions and such are downloaded from the cloud instantly. It is surprisingly fast with a good internet connection and because of the way it works it is always up to date. There is a subscription price paid with the purchase of the tool which expires in a year and can be renewed for 300 dollars. While it is very impressive on some makes, where it is able to do coding, key programming and initialization procedures, on some it is very limited and leaves out important functions like the Power balance and ABS brake bleed on fords. If you do mostly European or Asian cars this tool will impress you as it has very good coverage on cars like BMW, Mercedes, VW as well as the Asian brands. The tool covers over 40 brands and it is important to mention it has access to most if not all modules of all makes for at least trouble code read/clear and live data. It is offered with OBD1 connectors for Asian and European and with out them for discount.
