Castrol GTX Magnatec is now available in the US. This formula is specially formulated to cling to critical engine parts and to dramatically reduce engine wear. Most oils drain from critical engine parts when the engine is turned off and need time to reach the peak protection temperature when turned back on. GTX Magnatec specialized molecular components cling to the engine throughout all driving conditions, even when the engine is off. This provides an extra layer of protection from the start and throughout warm-up. Castrol GTX Magnatec is Dexos licensed and meets GM-dexos1 requirements, as tested in the Sequence IVA Wear Test.
Castrol GTX Magnatec is available in the following grades: in 0W-20, 5W-20 and 5W-30
