Delphi's GDi High Pressure Fuel Pump for gasoline direct injection system applications provide quieter operation that previous models. Delphi engineers accomplished this through an improved design single-piston engine driven pump.
Normal operating pressures run from 30 bar to 200 bar depending on application. Pumps includes an integrated flow control valve for precise demand fuel control and an integrated pressure relief valve. The pump can meet high flow demands from larger displacement engine applications.
Recently, Delphi introduced a new generation GDi fuel pump that can deliver up to 400 bar continuous operating pressure.
