Gates has hood latch kits for medium and heavy-duty applications. The kit contains a steel anchor bracket made from hot-rolled steel with clear zinc chromate plating for strength and corrosion resistance. Also included is a 2" bolt and nylon lock nut (which prevents loosening in vibration conditions) and an anti-rattle nub. The metal components pass the ASTM B117 salt spray test. Hood latch is made of EPDM, which is specially formulated to resist ozone.
