Description
From:
MOOG is a supplier of steering and suspension components for the automotive industry whose heritage stretches back nearly 100 years to 1919. In 1919 brothers Alva and Hubert P. MOOG created a company producing spare parts. Lamellate (plate) springs became the first product of the MOOG brothers, manufactured using a special heat treatment furnace. Later on MOOG developed a niche for producing suspension parts for American cars. A proud part of the Federal-Mogul family since 1998, MOOG moved into Europe with a continually evolving range of quality parts. From its beginnings as a small, family-owned spring shop in St. Louis, MOOG developed to achieve Europe’s largest market share in steering and suspension during 2012.
