NGK Spark Plugs designs and manufactures glow plugs for many diesel applications. The three different NGK glow plug identifiers are as follows:
Y = Metal
CY = Ceramic
CZ = Ceramic
Examples of part numbers look like this: Y112RS-1, or CY-51, or Y811
Below the part number will be the voltage rating of the glow plug which may look like this:
10.5V
