VIDA - Vehicle Information Diagnostic for Aftersales is the diagnostic platform the dealer & independent service centers use to interface either the DiCE or approved J2534 device with Volvo cars for diagnostic scantool based operations as well as service programming.
VIDA 2015 is 100% internet based, providing the user with the latest releases of up to date software.
Volvo Standard Time (VST) information is integrated into VIDA. Starting with XC90, fault tracing will be displayed and shown in a weighted order. Wiring Diagrams are also integrated as part of the repair process.
REQUIREMENTS FOR VIDA 2015
VIDA requirements for all vehicles EXCEPT the new 2016 XC 90*:
Windows 7 Pro/Enterprise or Windows 8.1 Pro.
VIDA workstations need Windows 7 Pro/Enterprise or Windows 8.1 Pro as an operating system

Network XC90 (16-) Additional Ethernet/Wireless network adapters are required for each VIDA workstation to enable direct connectivity to the car. It can be a PCI network card or a USB Ethernet adapter.
