I've used "Auto Enginuity" for about 8 years now, other than my hand held scanner it is the only scanner that i have with enhanced capabilities. As many have said, when it works, it is great! However i have had many a time when the thing would not communicate with certain vehicles or modules for no apparent reason and most recently in trying to reset an Audi gauge cluster oil maintenance light (Which can only be reset with a computer 2014 model Read more...

I have nothing good to say about this tool. I purchased it in good faith about ten years ago, spent more time trying to get it to work properly than actually benefitting from having the tool. Support was terrible. I bought it and at that time, I understood that it would always be supported unlike other similar tools that were available at that time. Well, frustrated enough, I was finally told that if I wanted, I could purchase the new version at Read more...

Wasn't thrilled with it and never use it anymore. found the interface to not be very intuitive and the support was painful.

what i can say is its code access is good and Its data pid list is great too but i wish it would list them with common ones at top cause it would be faster to find. yes.this is a complaint....WHAT I don't like is the extreme limitation of BI-DIRECTIONAL control, Many times just ONE offered!!

I literally wrote long review but missed fine print that says it has to be less then 2000 characters haha. OK, i have this scan tool and it works great! Its way better then $100 special from parts stores but it needs a little more features and user friendliness to be like factory scan tools. I have american bundle so ford, chevy, and dodge are what i can use it on and get the most out of it. it will do other makes and models but it does way l Read more...
