milwaukee M12 1/4" ratchet
Milwaukee Tool
- Dan Solomon, Owner/Technician at Solomons Auto and Truck Repair
the 1/4" M12 2456-20 ratchet is everything a 1/4" ratchet needs to be. my son purchased some of these Milwaukee products about 3 years back and I gave him much grief over purchasing a battery-powered tool over the air tools we had. after a while, I was using his and liked them so much I purchased several of their M12 Fuel-Tool lines. the Milwaukee tools have come a long way from the old (15 years) ago battery-powered tools and since using his I h

X-431 Pad
Launch Tech
- David Hodges Jr, Owner at David Hodges Jr
I have a Launch Pad II, I have been very happy with it for a couple years. It does a lot the other tools won't do, or it did. A few months ago they did some update and ever since then it fails to communicate with Chevrolet older vehicles. It will work fine on a 2018, failed on a 2011, two different 2005 years and most recently a 2006 Chevy equinox. The tool works fine on fords and several others including a BMW and a Jag. I have sent in feedback

X-431 Pad
Launch Tech
- David Kellner, Owner/Technician at Dave's Auto Service
I have an x431pro. Its a bit slow that is why its not my first grab but it has good coverage and functionality for the price. It has covered some things my autel 906 or snap on could not do so it makes a good tool to complement the snap on or autel. It seems to do some extra jeep things like air suspension and the 3.0l diesel which my other tools did not cover or do a good job of. It was also able to calibrate mazda passenger seat sensor. The s

NT520 Pro Multi-System Scanner
FoxWell
- Kelly Garvey, Technician/Technical Information Specialist at Complete Auto Systems
Ive played on and off with their products for over a year. Pricewise. they are primarily a competitor for Launch and the middle Autel lines. Id say they are an equal value to the tools they compete with for a general service shop. All 3 companies have scanners aimed and ranged at Service and Diag in the 300-1k range. So far they are NOT a threat to the higher line tools (2000-3000 range) as they lack reflash and some coding and Bidirectional even

-Back story- I've seen these scantools for sale on ECS tuning for some time under their in house brand name "Schwaben Multi-System Elite Scanner, by FoxWell", I have always been surprised by the value for money in the Schwaben tools, so I took the plunge and bought the NT520 from FoxWell directly. I purchased 2 car lines and the hardware for $209 shipped from China. It came preinstalled with VW and their brands (Audi, Bentley...). I had to regist

EScan Pro
Automotive Test Solutions
- John Stellus, Owner/Engineer at Shalom Auto Clinic
Good tool--had to change the laptop and misplaced the software cd--hard to get a copy from anywhere--customer service not very helpful. Jeffrey with ATS Escan saw my comments and called me. He remoted in to my laptop and walked me through the download. Tried it on a vehicle and found out that I had my drivers for usb needed to be updated since it was having problems. This was a problem with my laptop and had nothing to do with the Escan softw
